All development builds have a debugging capability. When facing problems, it is always a good idea to retrieve a debug log, so that we can get a better idea of where the problem is occurring.
Before you can install the latest version of the Buddycloud dev client from http://m.buddycloud.com/dev/s60/ , you need to sign up as a beta tester first and register your phone's IMEI for the upcoming development builds. Once registered, you'll be able to install the next development builds.

After installing a dev build, when a crash/technical problem occurs, do the following:

  1. Use a full-access third party file-explorer like Y-browser or X-plore to copy the two log files (LogLogic.bak.txt and LogLogic.txt) from C:/logs/Buddycloud/ to your desired location in E: (memory card), F: (built-in flash memory in some phones) or C:/data (phone memory).
  2. Send those copies to ross@buddycloud.com via email. Ross will then have a look and work on a solution.
